Nepal moved up in press freedom index but was the press really free?

Reporter Without Borders has claimed in its annual press freedom index that 2017 has been a bad year for journalists in many parts of the world. According to the organization, almost two third of the 180 countries included in the index have seen deterioration in working condition for local journalists. Ujjwal Acharya is the south Asia coordinator for International Federation of Journalists and he spoke to SBS Nepali about the current situation for journalists in Nepal.
