Australian workforce would shrink without migration: Professor Peter McDonald

Professor Peter McDonald of Melbourne University says that without new migrants, the workforce numbers in Australia would actually shrink. Not only do migrants drive investment creating new jobs for the long-term unemployed, but new migrants also inject younger workers into an otherwise ageing workforce.
