Bogdan Rudnytski interviewed Stefan Romaniw, Chairman of the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations (AFUO) and Secretary-General of the Ukrainian World Congress. We talked about the Ukrainian World Congress, the war in East Ukraine, Ukrainian community in Australia and focused on the illegally imprisoned Ukrainian citizens, including journalists Roman Sushchenko and Mykola Semena. Currently the 20 Ukrainian citizens illegally imprisoned by Russia including Oleg Sentsov, Oleksander Kolchenko, Stanislav Klikh, Mykola Karpyuk, and Akhtem Chiygoz. At this time the AFUO calls on the Australian Government and Australian Parliamentarians to increase the pressure on the Russian Federation and demand the release of these political prisoners.
