Pakistani Australian scientist wins Research award

Pakistani born Australian computer scientist Dr Syed Afaq Ali Shah has received Start Something Prize for Research Impact through Enterprise Award for the project Automatic 3D Face Analysis System for Facial Rejuvenation. The award was presented at the University of Western Australia (UWA) Research Awards and Honours ceremony held this month. Dr Afaq is a Research Associate in School of Computer Science and Software Engineering, UWA. He, along with his research team, has developed a 3D face imaging system to produce precise and automated evaluation of the actual effects of cosmetic procedures
