Q: What was your first musical memory?
My mother took me to see The Sound of Music during one of its many cinema reruns in the early 1970s. I was six or seven and the opening visuals of Julie Andrews dancing around on a mountain singing "The hills are alive..." have been burnt into my brain forever! It is a pretty rousing scene though. Also, the Nazis were super scary.
Q: Is there 1 album particular that you always go back to?
Yes! Meddle by Pink Floyd.
Q: Do you prefer playing live or working in the studio?
I much prefer working in the studio as no-one is looking at you. Only recently have I started to venture out into the live scene again after years of avoiding it.

Q: What are your thoughts on music streaming? How has it impacted artists?
I think its great. It's also inevitable, so whether I like it or not, it's happening. I was lucky to get my music into streaming right from the beginning so I have a small but growing presence. The payout issue is another whole can of worms.

Q: Do you have any upcoming projects that you would like to share?
I have a new album called 'Eternal' coming in November and I've just dropped the first single called 'Moviestar'. I've also completed an ambient album with David Bridie which will be out soon I hope. Plus I'm working on a second ambient album with another great Melbourne pianist Josh Roydhouse. Then I'll start working on a new album with Steve Kilbey from the Church. Then I'll have a lie down!
