Even before I meditated, people would say I looked calm, but internally there was a storm going on. These days I actually do feel calm inside.
Kynan Tan

Kynan Tan is a meditation teacher living and working on Gadigal and Wangal Land (Sydney, Australia).

After dabbling with meditation over several years, Kynan dedicated himself to sharing the practice of meditation as a tool to help with stress, anxiety, and depression. He uses his experience as an artist, musician, and programmer to share Dharma teachings in a way that is practical and creative.

Kynan has practised extensively in the Brahmavihārā practice among others. Brahmavihārā has four attitudes; mettā (loving kindness), karuṇā (compassion), muditā (empathetic joy), and upekkhā (equanimity).

Great Minds is a podcast from SBS Audio that guides you through different meditation styles from around the world.

In season two, experience meditations led by practitioners of Ngarayamūrah, Mettā, Vipassana, Tibetan Tonglen, and sound bath meditation. Try three short episodes in each style.
