During his presidency, Obama has withdrawn troops from Iraq, introduced public healthcare and acknowledged his support for same-sex marriages.

He also oversaw the assassination of Osama bin Laden.

He was publicly questioned about his religion and country-of-birth, eventually releasing his birth certificate in 2011.

He was re-elected in 2012 to a second term in office.
