The aim of Wayapa Wuurrk is to change how we think about wellness, because no matter how many gym sessions we do or vegetables we eat, we can’t be well if the Earth is sick. Your guide for this episode is Gunai-Kurnai man and Maara descendant Jamie Marloo Thomas. He will take you on an earth mindfulness journey of connectivity. You can listen to this meditation wherever you are.

Wayapa Wuurrk was founded by GunaiKurnai man and Maara descendant Jamie Marloo Thomas and his partner Sara Jones. The practice is aimed at reconnecting people back to their responsibility for caring for the planet, all while caring for their own mental wellbeing. It was developed in consultation with Jamie’s Elders.

There is now a growing number of certified Wayapa Practitioners who come from all walks of life, heritage, backgrounds and religions, but who all want to share the wisdom of ancestors who used to live like the First Peoples of Australia – connected to the Earth.
