SBS is broadcasting every 2018 FIFA World Cup™ match live on free-to-air television until the end of Group Stage on Friday 29 June, which unfortunately has meant some disruption to the regular SBS schedule. We love The Handmaid's Tale too, but in the face of a very popular event that occurs once every four years, we needed to make some changes.

For our viewers in Western Australia, episode 10 ('The Last Ceremony') and episode 11 ('Holly') will air on SBS VICELAND on Friday 29 June from 8:30pm.

But there is some good news! You can stream it earlier!

Episode 10 is available to stream NOW at SBS On Demand. Episode 11 will be available from 3pm on Thursday 28 June at SBS on Demand.

The Eyes on Gilead podcast

This year SBS has produced a companion podcast for season 2 of The Handmaid's Tale. Every week Fiona, Natalie, and Haidee discuss the new episode as soon as it is available at SBS On Demand. If you are watching it on broadcast, just download and save the episode so you can listen to it next week.

Eyes on Gilead - 'The Last Ceremony' + Handmaid's director Daina Reid

We have just watched episode 10, which is called The Last Ceremony and you can probably take to have multiple meanings. A false alarm in the baby stakes humiliates Serena, and causes her to punish June and stage a revenge ceremony as a means to bring on the birth. The Commander - belatedly - tries to make amends with 'Offred'. Eden, the sneaky devil, pours her heart out to Nick but gets pushed further away. June is faced with an unexpected reunion. And we end on a cliffhanger, again! We are also joined by Daina Reid, who directs the next episodes and gives us some insights into what makes Aunt Lydia tick.
