We've got a stack of announcements to make about what's coming to SBS VICELAND in 2019. New shows, returning favourites, and one-off documentaries that will get you talking.

Here's just a sample of what's in store.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine (Season 6)

January 2019
After its shock cancellation in May, Brooklyn Nine-Nine is back by popular demand following fan outcry. There’s a feeling of change in the bullpen, but that won’t stop recently married Jake Peralta and the detectives of the Nine-Nine from taking on New York’s criminal underbelly once again under the stern guidance of Captain Ray Holt - or is it soon to be ‘Commissioner Holt’?

Dopesick Nation

January 2019
Recovering addicts Frankie and Allie take on the heroin epidemic in South Florida, making it their mission to save as many addicts as possible. With their help, some will win the fight while others, and despite their best effort, some will fall.

The Orville (Season 2)

December 2018
From Emmy® Award-winning executive producer and creator Seth MacFarlane, The Orville is a live-action, one-hour space adventure series set 400 years in the future that follows The U.S.S. Orville, a mid-level exploratory spaceship. The ship’s mixed human and alien crew face the wonders and dangers of outer space, while also dealing with the problems of everyday life. The ensemble series stars MacFarlane as the ship's Captain, Ed Mercer, and Adrianne Palicki as his ex-wife, who's assigned as his First Officer. Now, the Orville is back with more missions and more action.

You’re The Worst Season 5

January 2019
You're The Worst is a modern look at love and happiness told through the eyes of two people who haven't been very successful with either. It's the story of Gretchen and Jimmy, fear, heartbreak, romance, sex, food, Los Angeles, Sunday Funday, friendship, and the fact that sometimes the worst people make the best partners.

The Girlfriend Experience (Season 2)

Early 2019
Set against the 2018 U.S. midterm elections, Season 2 tracks a complex relationship between Erica Myles, a finance director, and Anna Garner, a GFE provider.

Homeland (Season 8)

Mid 2019
Season 8 is the final season of Homeland, and it takes off from the conclusion of Season 7 and its eerily accurate reflection of the world’s current political and national security landscape. Carrie Mathison (Danes) worked to expose a vast international conspiracy determined to bring down the Keane Administration. Carrie, along with the administration’s new National Security Advisor Saul Berenson (Patinkin) are thrown into a labyrinth of double agents, social media bots, ‘fake news’ charlatans and Russian active measures - all designed to wreak havoc on America’s democratic institutions.

Wellington Paranormal Season 2

Mid 2019
Officers Minogue and O’Leary of the Wellington Police’s fledgling Paranormal Unit battle the sinister and the supernatural in this strange lovechild of the ‘X-Files’ and ‘Highway Patrol’. The show is a perfect mix of understated Kiwi Comedy and found footage horror. Wellington Paranormal is directed, produced and edited by comedy legend Jemaine Clement, with the help of director Jackie Van Beek and executive producer Taika Waititi.

Dark Side of the Ring

From the tragic death of Bruiser Brody to the legacy of Fabulous Moolah, the oldest female wrestler to win a title, Dark Side of the Ring is a documentary series that pieces together the untold history of professional wrestling and examines the blurred lines between real-life people and the characters they portray.
