Designer teams up with model to promote African fashion designs

African clothing designs are going places - in Australia and beyond - thanks to a partnership between Melbourne fashion model Sangeetha Singh and ex-Malawian designer Kwacha Luka. Sangeetha is a full time IT executive and a part time model. Shes collected multiple national and international modelling pageant awards including Mrs Australia Planet 2015. In her latest national and world appearances, she has been modelling creations form Melbourne-based Malawi-born Kwacha Luka.Sangeetha told Bertrand Tungandame that she embraces her Indian origins as well as her very strong connection to Africa.

Sangeetha recently won the 2017 most photogenic pageant in Las Vegas.

She says she owes a lot of her modelling success to her collaboration with a diverse range of multicultural designers.

Malawi born Kwacha Luka is a young and rising star in the Melbourne fashion scene. Her creations have featured in major fashion and design events in Australia and internatuonally.
