A new project of the African community in Queensland is about to take off.Its called the African Australian Story, described as a diverse and compelling anthology of infinite stories, all as unique as the intriguing people in African communities who shape them.It is a new online storytelling platform that creates and curates stories about African Australians.The projects co-ordinator is Ms Akua Afriyie Ahenkorah, a Brisbane-based public relations executive.She spoke with Martin Kwakwa, and he began by asking Akua about the African Australian Story project.


African Australian Story project co-ordinator Akua Afriyie Ahenkorah says it's about people from all walks of life, told through words, photos, videos, voice, muisc and more.

Each story represents the individual threads that weave the colourful and vibrant African Australian Story.
