Federal Health Minister Sussan Ley was born in Nigeria, raised in the Middle East and educated in Britain, before coming to Australia.She says her upbringing has affected her understanding of home and heritage.Brianna Roberts reports.


Health Minister Sussan Ley's childhood was spent moving from place to place following her father, who worked for British intelligence, around the world.

Born to British parents in Nigeria, her family moved to the United Arab Emirates when she was one.

She says the family travelled throughout the Emirates because of her father's job.
