15 years after September 11

Former Prime Minister John Howard has said he fears so-called lone-wolf attacks might be "the new normal", 15 years on from the September 11 attacks in the United States. In a wide-ranging interview with SBS World News, Mr Howard also spoke about the second coming of Pauline Hanson and the rise of Donald Trump. He began by defending the military interventions taken in the aftermath of September 11, denying they are to blame for the state of the Middle East today.
