ACT makes history as first parliament in the country with in-language Welcome to Country

The ACT legislative Assembly has become the first parliament in Australia to begin each sitting with a traditional Welcome to Country in an Indigenous language. It's hoped the move, which was unanimously agreed upon by all parties, will be adopted by governments across the country.
