The technology giant Apple is refusing to comply with a court in the United States to help unlock an iPhone belonging to one of the gunmen behind the San Bernadino shootings last year.

Apple argues granting that access might mean the U-S government, other countries or sophisticated cyber criminals could use the approach again.

But the government argues the phone offers crucial evidence in investigating one of the country's worst attacks involving people lured by the self-proclaimed Islamic State, or I-S.
