Australian tourism limps through pandemic struggles

The Tourism industry has been heavily impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. It had been one of Australia's fastest growing industries, with the number of jobs peaking in December 2019. But since then, 136-thousand jobs have been lost, which is the largest fall on record.
