COVID-19 affects the Albanian Community

The recent spike in the number of COVID-19 infections in Melbourne has also affected the Albanian community. Leaders report a significant increase in the number of infected members and are raising the awareness around the virus and the vaccines.


Part of the campaign are sessions on Zoom with health specialists who inform the community in relation to the impacts of COVID-19 and vaccines.

We spoke with the leaders of the various community associations who discussed the current situation with COVID-19, how it is impacting the community and the efforts of the associations to fight misinformation.
