Remzi Mulla is 83 years old. He came to Australia as very young child and has lived in Australia all his life. His family migrated from Albania in 1939 and settled in Mareeba in North Queensland.

Remzi grew up as part of a small Albanian community who preserved its culture and faith. His story is one of sacrifices, hard work and persistence.

He speaks of his schooling, his first job as a pharmacist, life as a  tobacco farmer and the closure of that industry in Queensland. Remzi also tells us about immigration and shares his thoughts on Albanian contribution to Australia.
