Fourth person dies after car hit pedestrians in Melbourne

Police say they expect to lay charges soon against a man accused of killing four people when he drove through a crowded pedestrian area in Melbourne's C-B-D (Fri, 21 Jan).

A 10-year-old year girl was among those killed -- and more than 20 others injured.

 

Five people are in a critical condition in hospital, including a three-month old baby.

 

The suspect was shot by police and has non-life threatening injuries.
