Macedonian Australians largely opt to boycott name-change referendum

The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia will decide this weekend ((Sept 30)) whether or not it will change its name, after a controversial deal with Greece.

But a boycott, backed by Australia's major Macedonian leaders, aims to rule Sunday's referendum invalid.
