Remains of six people recovered from White Island

A retrieval team has successfully extracted the remains of six people from New Zealand's White Island following a deadly volcanic eruption earlier this week. New Zealand's military forces were engaged in the highly-dangerous operation to recover the bodies after authorities faced growing pressure from families of victims and the wider local community to recover remains as soon as possible
