The Matildas will play Norway in Nice ((neese)) on Sunday morning ((0500 AEST)) in the Round of 16 in the Women's World Cup in France.

Australia defeated Jamaica in its final game of the group stage, four goals to one with star striker Sam Kerr scoring all four goals.

Her last, from a horrible Jamaican goalkeeping error in the 83rd minute, was the most important.

It meant the Matildas scored one goal more than Brazil in the group stage, giving them the tiebreaker advantage over the Brazilians, and ensuring they finished in second place in Group C, despite Brazil beating group winner Italy one-nil in the day's other match.
