The remains of Mid'hat Frasheri to return to Albania

A former diplomat, writer and politician, Mid'hat Frasheri will return to his homeland. His remains will now be returned to Albania almost seven decades after his death. A declared enemy of the state, Mr Frasheri was the son of Abdyl Frasheri, one of the most important activists of the Albanian National Awakening. Mid'hat was the leader of Balli Kombetar (National Front) and as such was not allowed to return to Albania during the reign of the communist regime.
