Australia’s migration numbers have plunged during the pandemic, with numbers falling into negative levels for the first time since World War Two. It’s a massive blow to the economy, with the skills crisis and slow population growth likely to impact the post-COVID recovery for years to come.



But experts say it’s not only the economy that will suffer, but also the rich cultural fabric of Australian society.
