90 minutes Sydney commuters spend on roads

SYDNEY commuters have longer average commuting times than residents of even America’s biggest cities, taking a toll on physical and mental health, fresh federal government research shows. Almost a third of employed people in Sydney have return commutes to and from work of more than 90 minutes each day — by far the highest incidence of so-called “mega-commuting” in the country.
