Emergency services were called to a home on Carruthers Street, Minto, about 4am (Sunday 21 April 2019), after a woman’s body was located in the garage.
The woman has not been formally identified but is believed to be a 33-year-old.
Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command established a crime scene, which was forensically examined.
A 49-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Campbelltown Police Station before being transferred to Fairfield Hospital where he received treatment for a hand injury.
