You’ve probably noticed the media game has changed and online has quickly become the “go to” for just about everyone, and the need for cross platform skills are critical to building SBS Radio’s online audiences. With this in mind, SBS Radio is looking for Casual Producers to join our Arabic language team.
We're looking for social media natives with digital production and editorial skills, along with an in-depth understanding of local and international news and current affairs affecting Australia’s Arabic Community. You will demonstrate creativity in using a variety of digital storytelling techniques, including graphics and video to produce content that will grow audiences and engagement.
Given the nature of the role, you will be obsessed with social media and have a deep understanding of what makes content shareable online and it would be great if you’ve had experience working with content management systems.
As the title suggests, the spoken language in your comfort zone is Arabic. Classic Arabic to be more specific but we need you to be comfortable communication with everyone across SBS so English is a must as well.
Being a casual position, it involves rostered shift work. The good news is everyone in our team starts as a casual and may have the opportunity to advance.
