Technical outages have hit the Australian Tax Office forcing the agency to take its tax return systems offline for several hours last night (wed).
It comes as tax time begins following the end of the financial year last week.
The outage occurred just hours after tax commissioner Chris Jordan admitted I-T issues are impacting the A-T-O's standing in the community
The website has been dogged by system issues in recent months, with major outages in December, February and as recently as last week.
