Australia and Indonesia will sign a landmark free trade deal in Jakarta on Monday ((4th March)).
The deal is Indonesia's first major agreement of this type and will allow Australian-owned universities to operate in the country.
Trade Minister Simon Birmingham will travel to Indonesia to sign the deal alongside his Indonesian counterpart.
Speaking to the A-B-C, Mr Birmingham says the deal will open up many new opportunities.
The deal was meant to have been signed last year after negotiations finished in August.
However, Indonesian ministers postponed the agreement after Prime Minister Scott Morrison's announcement the government was considering moving Australia's Israeli embassy to Jerusalem.
