Grand Mufti of Australia, Dr Ibrahim Abu Muhamed, hosted his annual Iftar banquet, on Saturday, May 25th, with the attendance of religious figures representing several churches, in addition to politicians of different political parties.
Abu Muhamed affirmed the importance of building a strong connection among the different elements of the Australian community, to better combat the "evilness" of terror and hatred.
The Maronite Bishop in Australia, Antoine-Charbel Tarabay, spoke of the values of the month of Ramadan, asking Arab Australian families to break the barriers, to better serve humanity.
