CCTV security footage has captured an alleged attack on a Sydney taxi driver, Nadeem Usman.
The footage shows a passenger attempting to rip off one of the taxi's doors.
The taxi driver Nadeen flees the car and runs onto the street.
Nadeem is then allegedly knocked to the ground and assaulted by a man and his girlfriend.
Two teenagers - Ryan Barrett (18 year-old) and Bailey Cooper (19 year-old) - who were inside a nearby 7/11 store rushed to help Nadeem.
Kashif Khan, a 7/11 worker, dialed 000 and called for help.
Ryan and Bailey were also allegedly attacked - punched in the head, kicked in the face and chased around the store.
The alleged offenders, a man and woman, ran away in another cab.
Nadeem was taken to hospital with head injuries and remains in a stable condition.
The NSW police arrested the two 10 minutes later.
Jay Belgrove, 21 year-old, has been charged and was refused bail.
While, Georgie-Lee Pickett, 20 year-old, was charged with assault and granted strict bail. She will face court next month.
