Childrens' parliament initiative gives school kids a voice

A new program is giving a voice to school students in Sydney's west. The children's parliament is an initiative of the Liverpool City Council, and is aimed at engaging students in political issues. On first sitting day of the children's parliament, it was the children schooling the adults. Students, aged between 8 and 12, were attending the Liverpool City Council chambers, where they gave speeches on the issues that matter to them.
