Coalition blames Victorian government’s reliance on renewable energy for power outages

Liberal Party member Craig Kelly is blaming the Victorian government's reliance on renewable energy for power outages in the state last week.

Victorian Energy Minister Lily D'Ambrosio has backed the use of renewable energy and says it was coal

and thermal generators that failed the state.

Mr Kelly has told Sky News he thinks blaming coal-fired generators is just a cover up.
