Coalition unlikely to meet its women quota by 2025

Federal Industry Minister Karen Andrews says the Coalition is unlikely to make its target of preselecting women for half of all winnable seats by 2025.

Ms Andrews has told the ABC a more realistic step toward gender parity in the short term would be revising the target down from 50 per cent to 30 per cent.
