Crane collapse in Melbourne injures men

A man is trapped, another fighting for life and a third has minor injuries after a crane dropped a load of concrete on them in Melbourne's east.

A crane lifting a bucketload of concrete at a worksite in Melbourne's east has collapsed, with one man trapped and two others injured.

A crane lifting a tub of concrete is believed to have dropped its load into a pit at a Box Hill building site, where three men were working about 12.20pm, police say.

One man is still trapped, one has critical injuries while the other has minor injuries.

Emergency services and WorkSafe are at the scene
