Researchers have revealed that many people are consuming an average of 14 per cent fewer kilojoules than we did in the 1970s. Surely a cause for celebration. Not so fast. For while the reports show we are eating less, we are also getting fatter. This suggests that there is more to our expanding waistlines than the food and drink we take in. Here is the latest research on what could be making you fat without you even realising it.
