AN Egyptian woman is believed to be the fattest woman alive after her weight reached an incredible 500 kilograms

Iman Ahmad Abdulati, 36, from Alexandria in northern Egypt, who now weighs in at half a tonne, said she hadn’t left home for 25 years because of her size.

She said inquiries at local hospitals by her family went unanswered, but after her sister Chaymaa went public with the problem, they finally offered help.

Chaymaa said their household consists of herself, Iman and their mother and that their father had died when they were young.
