Federal government signs off on Adani mine groundwater plan

The federal environment minister has given the green light to the groundwater plan for Adani's controversial Carmichael mine, taking it a step closer to operation.

Science agencies CSIRO and Geoscience Australia had confirmed the company's revised plans met strict scientific requirements, minister Melissa Price said on Tuesday.
