Federal Agriculture Minister David Littleproud has threatened to block a ship carrying 65,000 sheep from leaving Australia amid an investigation into the deaths of about 2400 sheep.
According to Sky News the government may block the ship unless the exporter agrees to a number of conditions.
SBS News has asked the department of agriculture what the conditions were and awaits response.
