Hillary Clinton lost the election although She got more votes!

Donald Trump decisively won the electoral college, and therefore the presidency. But Clinton won the popular vote by more than 230,000 votes. That means nearly a quarter of a million more people backed her than Trump. As the New York Times projected, Clinton won the popular vote by 47.7 to 47.5 per cent.
