How do Arabic speakers spread across Australian states? (Census)

The 2016 census showed that the Arabic speakers in Australia increased to 321,728, a number higher by which is 34,544 than what it was in 2011. Arabic positioned itself in the 3rd place after English and Mandarine. But where do the Arabic speakers in Australia live?

The state with the highest level of Arabic speakers is New South Wales. About 62 percent of the people who speak Arabic are based in this state, totalling up tp 200,825 inhabitants.

Followed by Victoria with of about 25 percent of speakers, followed by Western Australia with 4.3 percent, Queensland at 4 percent and South Australia at 3 percent.

The state with the lowest number of English speakers is the Northern Territory with only 361 speakers.
