It costs $826 on average to dispatch an ambulance in Vic

Health Minister Jill Hennessy said the increase was a result of investments in the ambulance system, including pay rises for paramedics. Earlier this year, the Fair Work Commission ruled Victorian paramedics deserved pay rises of between 12 and 28 per cent to reflect changes in their duties and training over the past decade.
