Joyce refuses to support the govrnment's energy policy

Former deputy prime minister Barnaby Joyce says he will not support the Federal Government's National Energy Guarantee if emissions targets are placed on the agriculture sector.

Former deputy prime minister Barnaby Joyce says he will not support the Federal Government's National Energy Guarantee if emissions targets are placed on the agriculture sector. 

The Nationals MP says voters do not want the government to focus on climate-change targets like the Paris Agreement if it means farmers will be hit and power prices will increase.

Mr Joyce has told Sky News the Coalition needs to change its focus.
