Julie Bishop meets Amal Clooney at United Nations conference

Foreign Minister Julie Bishop has met with human rights lawyer Amal Clooney at a United Nations conference in New York City. Ms Bishop and Mrs Clooney attended the UN summit to raise awareness for the Yazidi community, which has been terrorised by ISIS for the last two years.

Her journey has been inspiring &  traumatic.

in 2014, Murad was taken by ISIS for human trafficking, while her mother and brothers were executed. Now, with the help of her lawyer Amal Clooney, she's speaking out about the plight of the Yazidi people, a group native to Northern Iraq.
