Prime Minister Scott Morrison has dismissed suggestions handling of bullying and intimidation claims have been handled poorly by the Liberal Party.

South Australian Liberal senator Lucy Gichuhi  says she was bullied and intimidated by colleagues during the party's leadership challenge and will name and shame the offenders next week.

Her claims follow Victorian M-P Julia Banks' announcement she won't recontest her seat, blaming bullying and intimidation from fellow Liberals.
