FURIOUS beauty pageant organisers have said they intend to strip Miss Lebanon Emigrant Australia of her title after 22g of the deadly drug ice was allegedly found in a car she was driving.

Najah Ghamrawi, 18, was arrested after police gave chase when they spotted the car she was in — a souped-up Volkswagen Golf — being driven erratically through Bankstown last month

Ms Ghamrawi was fined more than $1350 at Bankstown police station for driving while not wearing a seat belt and not displaying P-plates at 11.45pm on December 21.

The 20-year-old man was charged with supplying a prohibited drug and dealing with the proceeds of crime.

A woman claiming to be her aunt strenuously denied Miss Ghamrawi was involved with the police, telling The Daily Telegraph: “These are completely false allegations. Najah was not in a car and was not taken to a police station. It’s complete rubbish.”
