Sculpting the world's best footballers is harder than it seems.

Liverpool and Egyptian forward Mo Salah has been honoured with the unveiling of a new statue in his homeland, but football fans were quick to mock the sculpture's unusual look on social media.

The statue showed Salah, who set the Premier League goalscoring record for a single campaign last year, performing his iconic goal celebration with an unusually oversized head, small outstretched arms and small legs.
