Mother charged over Nambucca Heads carpark death of daughter and friend

A northern NSW woman will appear in court after two young women including her daughter were run down in a shopping centre carpark.

A mother has been charged with manslaughter after two young women, including her daughter, were hit and killed in a shopping centre carpark in northern NSW.

Police were called to a Nambucca Heads shopping centre just before midnight on Saturday, where the two women - a 24-year-old from Bellingen and a 20-year-old from Macksville - had been run down by a car.
