More than a million people are expected to attend New Year's Eve celebrations in Sydney Harbour.

The multi-million dollar fireworks will be the biggest the city has ever seen, featuring an additional 2000 firecrackers to add to the seven tonnes of dazzling
pyrotechnics to be set off at midnight.

The event is also tipped to reach its largest audience in 2016, with live-streaming on Facebook predicted to reach 10-million viewers online.
